Singapore

    Today I introduce Singapore because ,as I said before , I have lived in there for 4 years and want you to know about Singapore. I think there are a lot of places to visit for sightseeing. 

    If you travel to Singapore,  I recommend that you visit a Singaporean food court called hawker center.  Price in Singapore are high , but  in hawker center , you can have so many kind of food cheaply ! There are many kind of food because in Singapore there are people of all sorts of ethnicities . Therefore there are Malaysian , Indian , Indonesian , Thai , Singapore ,Japan and so on . I introduced my favorite food in  hawker center on facebook so if you are interested in the hawker center , please check it .

    When I was learning geography in high school, I was surprised that Singapore is a small country, but it is a multi-ethnic nation especially Chinese and it has four official languages. I didn't know much about Singapore except for the Merlion. If I have a chance to go there, I'd like to go to hawker center and eat what you recommend.

I need to vent

    The third term is over and it was tremendously difficult. I had to take two math courses and two physics courses. In addition, I had to take a physics lab.    These physics experiments were very difficult. First of all, we have to prepare for the next experiment every week using the textbook and videos. When we do the experiments, we have to do a lot of steady work. When the experiment is over, we have to submit a report by the next week.    I also had a part-time job, but it was so hard that I thought about quitting. I also wanted to participate in club activities, so I was very busy. Two math courses and two physics courses are also busy for homework.     I thought that university students could lead a more carefree life, but it was quite busy. However, in the fourth term, I had more time to spare. I am very happy that I have more time to do what I want.

My respected grandfather

   I have grandparents who are almost 80 years old. They have taken care of me since I was little and have been very protective of me. I still visit my grandparents frequently and enjoy eating and talking with them.     I have been walking dog with my grandfather since my childhood. My grandfather likes to go for walks so he used to take me. He turned 80 last year but he is full of energy and still takes long walks with me. On our walks, I listen to his interesting stories and hardships. He talks about a lot of interesting and exciting episode so I felt that the longer people lives, the more interesting people experiences.     My grandfather lost his father when he was a child and had a very hard time but he studied hard and worked diligently. I have great respect for him. One of my favorite episodes is that my grandfather used to go back to his hometown to help his mother with her work every time he had a long vacation when he was in university. ...

The Shawshank Redemption

   One movie that I really liked was "The Shawshank Redemption". It was made in 1994.There are Tim Robbins, Morgan Freeman and so on. Frank Darabont made it.     In the movie, the main character is Andy. At the beginning of the movie, Andy found that his wife was having an affair and tried to kill them. After that scene, Andy was at the court because of their death. Andy insisted on his innocence, but no one believed that. Therefore he's been sentenced to life imprisonment. Then he met a men named Red. They were getting to know each other. They were somehow enjoying themselves even in the prison. One day, it was discovered that Andy was actually innocent, but this fact was covered up by the warden. He was in despair. Every prisoner is worried that he would kill himself. A few days later, When the morning roll call was held, there was no one in his room. He escaped.
